What makes this project different?

Restoring the visuals using the original real world sources of COMMANDOS. The result is a visual experience that is as true to the original game as possible, presented in full HD resolution. The intent throughout the project is to remain true to the original visuals and artistic intent. The best kind of feedback I receive is when people say that the game looks like what they imagined it to look like when they first played it many years ago.

I’m Stankan, an italian guy that love Commandos series and want to help create the definitive hd experience for this series.

Essentially to support this ongoing work. As you can imagine, this is a job that takes a long time.

How much has been completed?

This is an amateur work in progress so there is no official release date. I will continue to improve the project by fixing any minor bugs.

What are the System Requirements for this Project?

You must have original games, Windows 10 or 11 and graphic card with 128MB of memory.

Have you done it all alone?

No, I work at the Commandos code from 2010 and I have to thank the whole community CommandosHQ and Revora forums for important information about modding the game, and the creators of the various tools which without it would be impossible create this.
